This is absolutely a dab rig and not meant for flower!
A percolator bong, or "perc bong," uses a filtration mechanism to create smoother hits by breaking smoke into bubbles. Options include honeycomb percolator bongs, tree percolators, and double percolator bongs for different experiences.
Percolator bongs diffuse smoke into smaller smoke bubbles, allowing you to experience a pleasant and cooler hit.
You use a perc bong the same way you would a regular bong. To use a perc bong, fill the water chamber(s), load the bowl, light it, and inhale. The percolators filter and cool smoke for a refined experience.
Fill the bong with water to just cover each percolator but avoid overfilling. This ensures efficient filtration without excessive drag or mouthfuls of bong water.
Percolator bongs provide extra filtration, which can reduce harshness, making them easier on the throat. While not necessarily "healthier," they provide a gentler inhale.
To clean a percolator bong, pour a mixture of isopropyl alcohol and salt into each chamber. Gently shake and rinse thoroughly with warm water. For tough spots, like honeycomb or tree percs, soak the bong to reach each percolator ensuring a thorough clean.

A percolated bong, also known as a perc bong, is a type of water pipe used for smoking herbs or tobacco. It is characterized by the presence of one or more bong percolators, which are additional chambers or sections that filter and cool the smoke before it is inhaled.
The smoke passes through the water in the base chamber, and then is forced through the percolator(s) before it reaches the user. The percolator(s) creates many smaller bubbles that increases the surface area of the smoke, which cools the smoke and filters out some impurities. The smoke then travels up the stem and into the user's lungs.
There are several types of percolators, such as:
Tree percs have several arms branching out from the main chamber
Showerhead percs have a tube with several small holes at the bottom
Dome percs have a dome-shaped chamber with small holes
Honeycomb percs have a disk with several small holes
Percolated bongs come in various shapes and sizes, and can be made from glass, acrylic, or other materials. They are considered to be a more efficient and smoother way of smoking, as the percolators help to filter and cool the smoke, reducing the harshness and increasing the filtration of harmful substances.
The only downside is they do require more cleaning, as the can clog up easily, we recommend the use of an ash catcher with percolated bongs.
